Wow, what a rich experience to live there among a different culture. My kids enjoyed that picture, especially since we studied Asia this year. BTW, I finished book #1 of Mark of the Lion...all i have to say is WOW! On to book #2! Really good books!
Wow - that is such a peaceful picture. I mean, maybe not peaceful for the person working, but I can just imagine the quietness of the moment. Thanks for sharing!

Great pics! I've been wanting to take a picture of each stage of a rice paddie (sp??) but don't think I'll get around to it! :)
What a gift you have had living in another country. You will carry this experience with you forever.
what an experience you are having! i appreciate how you share it with all of us so we can learn about a new culture too!
love the new picture on your sidebar!
All that hard work amazes me....no machinery used. And I too love the new pic on the sidebar!!!

Is the rice in yet? It was so cool to see, we were bummed we missed it.
What a view and how neat to be able to say you saw rice grow.
Wild! What a life experience. You are gonna be so glad you started a blog and have all of this recorded.
Hoping to "see" you soon!

That reminds me of the year we lived in England. The view out of my window then is like nothing I'll ever have again!
