OH YES HE DID!!! I know her hair had a bit of post-nap craziness going on but SERIOUSLY you can't say things like that to another human being, especially not a kid! I am so glad her little two year old self was oblivious to the whole thing. Unbelievable! I didn't know exactly how to respond so I just said, "Yes, I have been blessed with TWO beautiful girls."

Unbelievable! Where do people get off thinking they have the right to open their mouths and let garbage roll off the end of their tongues? This makes me furious! Being the mom of three daughters I know the struggles they all have had between themselves as to who is the prettiest, the thinnest, the smartest. All the insecurity junk. No one has the right to plant that garbage into the heart of a little child no matter how young she is. She's God little beauty and we all know it!

Thank goodness Adeline was oblivious. I've had some similar things spoken to me as an older child and young adult and though I've dealt with it, they still sting.

omg, the horror. Once when Ron was out with the kids and I wasn't along some lady asked where Ron adopted the kids from. He explained that his wife was Korean. Again she repeated the question where did he adopt them from. Some people, hmph!

However, had my older child been able to understand - that would have been a whole different ball game! Sorry you had to endure one of the many ignorant people in the world.
