It's in her genes...

One sure sign of summer around here is....CORN ON THE COB! I love it....and apparently I always have because there are more pictures of me eating it as a kid than anything else (except maybe ice cream).
Adeline has had fresh corn a few times before, but I usually cut it off the cob for her. When we handed the ear to her, she tried to bite the end of it (like a hotdog). Precious. She was a quick learner though (see the title), and she soon devoured every kernel and asked for more....and then more. Yeah, she gets her appetite from me too.

Those are classic pictures. I love seeing kids eat corn on the cob. My oldest was confused for one summer and called it cob off the corn!

:-D

JS doesn't like corn on the cob. I have no idea who he takes after because both my hubby and I love that stuff.

it's so funny to look at kids eating this nummy delight. hands all greasy holding it...then we somehow realize we need to hold it on the ends. hmph, no more licking fingers, etc. it stinks growing up sometimes! cute pictures!

Look how cute you are eating your corn on the cob. It is my favorite summer food... my son's too. he told his sister last week, "you gotta add butter and salt, then it is fabulous!"

Cute pics of you and Adeline. =)
That's funny the way she tried to eat it at first- when I gave Anna her first hot dog, like a month ago, she held it in both hands and ate it like corn on the cob! Her and Adeline are complimentary, I guess. =)
