I forgot to tell you the craziest story...
We were waiting for Patrick's luggage after our reunion at the airport, when out of the corner of my eye, I see someone running towards me. I turned and was SHOCKED to see Christie!!! Yes, the same Christie who went to residency with Patrick, came to Korea with us, became one of our closest friends there, spent Christmas with us, had a major hair transformation, and took golf lessons with me. We knew she was coming to see us on Friday, but did NOT expect to see her at the airport on Thursday! She was picking up a friend from the airport who just happened to be on Patrick's flight. We had a nice little reunion which was a foretaste for Friday. Adeline and Christie have a mutual love for each other and were both so excited to be together.

How fun! :o)
Did you tell Christie that those bridges are also affectionately referred to as "kissing bridges"? At least our parents' generation called them that...crazy Mennonites! :o)
How cool!
Gotta love those covered bridges!
Great picture below, btw!
Those bridges remind me so much of the stories (trilogy) that I am reading about the Amish (Confession) by Beverly Lewis. Good books! They make me think of Lancaster
Awesome!
By the way, we're looking forward to Sunday.
Now, that is SO cool!
And, that covered bridge SO reminds me of your hometown!
Isn't it freaky when you run into someone at a place you aren't expecting them? Good freaky, but freaky nonetheless....looks like you had a wonderful time. :)
I love that bridge. What a fun way to re-unite with an old friend!
That's cool that you saw her so unexpectedly.
And by the way, that is OUR kissing bridge. It used to be right next to Dick's home place, and we would go for walks. It was a great place to sneak a kiss.
Hey, you'll have to come over to my blog. I "blamed" you wrongly for a practical joke, along with a few other people. Turns out it was none other than Krista!!
I had a great time and miss you all already!
What a fun reunion. I didn't know you were from PA...I grew up near Harrisburg
Isn't it great to be surrounded by people you love?
i love hearing about sweet surprises. looks like a wonderful day with a wonderful friend!
Oh, that's fun! Enjoyed catching up on your blogs.
Where is that bridge? I think we drove over it this past Sunday on the way to LCBC from Lititz. I know there are a ton of those all over PA, but it really looks like the one we drove over! Could it be?
what a fun surprise!
i love that covered bridge.
