This was one of our favorite outings of our vacation. In Tasmania, we spent a day at this wildlife park. You can see for yourself how amazing it was.

See you in two weeks!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to do a quick post to let you know we arrived safely to our cruise. We are having a blast...despite those who thought we were crazy for bringing a 1 yo on this vacation. I was hoping to update you throughout our vacation, but it costs $.75 per minute to use the internet!!! So...see you in two weeks!!!! I'll catch up with you all then.

Loose ends
I realized that I have some loose ends to tie up with you, dear readers, before I leave for vacation tomorrow....
1. My parents returned to the US on Monday. They had a delay of their last flight, but other than that, things went well. They are safe and recovering from jet lag.
2. I AM LEAVING FOR VACATION TOMORROW!!!! I am not sure how I missed discussing this with you earlier. I guess my brain was just focused on one life event at a time. Since my parents' visit ended, I have just begun to think about vacation prep. We are flying to Auckland, New Zealand tomorrow evening. We are going on a 12 day Princess cruise stopping in Tauranga, Christchurch, Dunedin (Port Chalmers), Fiordland National Park, Hobart (Tasmania), Melbourne (Australia), and then disembark in Sydney. We are planning to spend an extra night in Sydney before flying home.
3. Yes, we are taking Adeline with us. And may I add, there is SO much more to think about when packing for such a long trip with a baby girl. I am just *mildly* excited about dressing her up for dinner every night.
4. We are taking our laptop, so assuming we have easy internet access, I will try to keep you posted (pun intended) as our adventures unfold.
5. If any of you have traveled to this part of the world before and have advice on anything we must see or do, please share!

My 100th post!!!!!
Yeah!!! I made it! THIS my friends, is my 100th post. It is sort of a blogging tradition to do something special for your 100th post. Some do giveaways, some share a special story about their lives, and many do lists of things about themselves. Since I haven't done a list like this in quite some time, and many of you are new to reading my blog and don't know me very well, I thought I would share some facts about ME.
FYI...I am also planning a giveaway soon, so come back to visit!
1. I broke my nose and my right leg on two separate occasions.
2. I am a night owl and my husband is a morning bird....but neither of us are extreme about these preferences.
3. I met my husband on a blind date (thank you Sarah and Jason).
4. We have been married for 6 years.
5. We went to St Lucia for our honeymoon and stayed in the most BEAUTIFUL room. It literally only had 3 walls. It was high in the mountains and looked over the rainforest and ocean. To see the sun setting over the ocean was amazing.
6. We endured a lot of mocking for choosing a room with only 3 walls for our honeymoon....we know 6 couples that have gone there since they saw our pictures.
7. I lived with Mary (not before 7) for one semester and Sarah (short stop) for 2 years in college.
8. I will accept bribes for secrets about either of these ladies (just kidding).
9. I am an occupational therapist.
10. My daughter has been "talking" for the last 45 min instead of taking a much needed nap.
11. I have one older sister, Lisa.
12. I love to scrapbook. I do one large family album each year and then have other albums for major events like our wedding, honeymoon, cruise vacation, etc. I also did a baby album for myself, one for Patrick with all his pictures prior to meeting me, albums for my mom, dad, and sister of their childhoods, and an album of all the paper stuff from my childhood (report cards, newspaper articles, awards, my college acceptance letter, notes I passed to my parents in church, etc.).
13. My husband and I are addicted to Lost, but we are only on season 2, so we watch it whenever we want.
14. I grew up in a small town, and I love small town life.
15. I have also lived in a city, and there are aspects to this life that I like. SO, the perfect situation for me is to live in a small town that is only a few hours from several large cities.
16. We will probably move back to my hometown after Patrick's military career.
17. Patrick loves my hometown.

31. I am blessed that my husband enjoys this variety (Indian, good-old American meat and potatoes, Italian, Mexican, seafood, and anything else I want to attempt).
32. Growing up, we had dessert with every meal, and they were always homemade.
33. My mom is an excellent cook and taught me a lot, but I call her "the stifled chef" because my father (and my sister and I growing up) is a picky eater and she is limited on what she can make or everyone complains.
34. We went bike riding a lot as a family when I was a kid. We would take our bikes to the beach, we went on trips to Washington DC a few times each year, and we would ride around at home. These are some of my favorite memories.
35. Nothing beats a full body massage, especially one with hot rocks. I also will never pass up a pedicure. One of my favorite finds in my hometown is the cosmetology school that gives 1 hours facials for $12 and 1 hour pedicures for $15.

How Do I Look?
Has anyone seen that show? Well, this is a makeover worth seeing! I have been prepping her for months. It was time for a change. We helped her celebrate her 30th birthday, and it was time for her to stop being skipped at weddings for the champagne toast because the server thought she was 15 (yes, that really happened...I was there). She still looks young and beautiful, but she now looks like the sophisticated, professional woman that she is. Are you shaking with anticipation?
Well, a transition like this takes time, my friends....

And here she is.....
Before and After

And here is the man that made it all possible. Thanks, Dennis (or whatever your real Korean name is), we loved our day of beauty.

The Markets
Here's one more post from activities from my parents' visit. Yes, I DID take my mom to that happy place known as the Flower Market. In fact, we made two visits there.

Adeline turns 1
It had to happen someday...and in many ways I'm glad it did. My baby girl turned one. Time goes so fast and yet part of me can barely remember what life was like without her. She is lovely in every sense of the word. She brings me more joy than I could have imagined, with her smiles, cuddles, and laughs. Happy Birthday my sweet girl. Mommy loves you.

The Birthday Bash
OOSC Monthly Social
I started this post a few weeks ago, and it got buried in my drafts section somehow. Anyway, these are a few pictures from a very fun Osan Officer Spouses' Club (OOSC) social. It was a big 'ol pajama party, complete with games of musical chairs, hot valentine (aka hot potato), and a scavenger hunt! Lots of estrogen floating around this room!
Here's a pic of musical chairs.
