A lion says, "Roarrrrrr"

Adeline is still too young to get the concept of trick-or-treating, but we thought she might enjoy seeing the other kids dressed in their costumes and visiting with the neighbors (she's a social one).  We didn't bother to teach her to say "trick-or-treat."  We just asked her what a lion says when we got to each door....much cuter.

Adeline loved playing with her cousin, Dominick.  She rocked him in his carseat, tried to feed him her sippy cup, and kept touching his head.  She's going to be such a wonderful big sister.
Patrick's sister, her husband, and two kids, and Patrick's mom came over for the evening (and then spent the night).  Just as we left our house with Taylor and Adeline, two carloads of our friends from the next neighborhood pulled in to join us.  They weren't having a lot of luck in their neighborhood.  So, with 5 more kids in tow, we made quite the group.  It was a really fun evening.

No mention of all her candy? Some parenting advice - make your kids pay a Mommy (and Daddy) Tax. We get lots of candy and other goodies that way. (We really are great parents, really.)

Anyway, Adeline looks scrumptious in her costume.

What a cute little lion! Sounds like you had a fun evening and Adeline got good practice being a big sister.

Yeah! I love trick or treating. It was fun here because we got a lot of British kids, and "trick or treat" with a British accent coming out of a little kid, is just too cute!

Yeah, sorry we crashed in on your Halloween fun. Hope you didn't mind :}. We definitely like your neighborhood better than ours when it comes to Halloween! (Except for that scary guy. What are people thinking?)
