My hidden talent

I have a hidden talent...my motto is, "there is always room for one more dish!" Does anyone else do this? These pictures are examples from two days this week. I mean, this is truly an art people! You need to strategicly place the tall plates and the cutting board on the edge so they can support the larger pots/pans leaning against them on the top of the pile. My talent is also well applied to dishwashers (did I mention that we are WITHOUT a dishwasher while in Korea?...boo hoo). My husband does not share this passion. He would much rather get out a towel and shorten the stack than try to find that perfect balance. Are you a stacker?

hysterical! I am delighted to know that other people share my passion to get the maximum number of dishes stacked!

Although we do have a dishwasher (sorry), but I still do the balancing stacking thing with the bigger items that have to get washed by hand.

Too funny...!

Too funny. Currently on my dish drainer I have one plate, three knives, one skillet, one pot, two muffin tins, one milk container awaiting recycling, the highchair tray, and the huge bowl that goes with my Kitchenaide mixer. I also decided to leave the lids to the pans for the next load rather than get out a towel and actually dry something, so yes, I think I am a stacker!

Oh yes! I am the ultimate stacker with lots of practice from all my early years without a dishwasher. It really is an art.

Very impressive! We have a dishwasher but hand wash a fair amount. We haven't had a dish drainer in years. Duncan thought it got too yucky too quickly, so we just put the dishes on a towel laid out on the counter. And yes, they are stacked!

So nice to know I'm not the only one to takes such pleasure in this artform! That and making lists--rewriting them if I'm not pleased with my handwriting--with at least a few things I've already accomplished on them...I like written encouragement, what can I say?! :-P

I'm definitely a stacker. I didn't get a dishwasher after all these years, but I did get bigger sink, which makes stacking even funnier.
