I Won!!!

I won this book during the Fall Y'All Bloggy Giveaway!  For those who don't know what this is, I will be sure to participate in the next giveaway and give you more details then.  Basically, several (I mean like 600!!!) bloggers all link to one site with giveaways.  They could give away anything from lotion to books to a gift card.  Some people used it as a way to promote their on-line business, some used it as a way to get more "traffic" to their blogs, and some just wanted to join the party!  I am just so excited to have won that I wanted to share the news.  Isn't the title of this book too cute?  I will let you know what I think of it after I've read it.

It was a lot of fun to peruse these sites.  I found  a lot of great new products, and in one blog I found a great tip that I thought I would share with you.  You can find it at www.motivatedmoms.com

This site offers a calendar to help with organizing your cleaning schedule.  It is PERFECT for a list lover like me.  It breaks down tasks into chores that need to be done every day (like making the bed, feeding the pets, washing the dishes), and then adds a few other tasks to be tackled each day.  If you follow the schedule, your house will stay pretty clean without becoming overwhelming.  Tasks include things like cleaning out the microwave, changing your kitchen towels, paying the bills, changing the filter in your heater, dusting the master bedroom, or clipping your children's nails.  It costs $8 to download, and you can get it with or without a daily scripture reading to read through the Bible in a year.  I LOVE to be able to check things off a list, and this helps make organizing a household seem less daunting when it is broken down.  I was VERY excited about this find and hope you will check out the site and perhaps benefit from it as well.

Lynn,
I never knew you were a list maker. I'm learning a lot about you from your blog.
