Camille is now sleeping in a "big girl bed." It's adorable. I'll have to post pictures. Anyway, tonight she is standing at the top of the steps screaming for daddy after we have already put her down for the night. I lead her back to her room and am just about to explain AGAIN to her our rule about not getting out of bed, discipline her, and close her door, when she says the one thing that exonerates her from all punishment...
I pooped.

yes... that excuse as well as the "i have to go potty" excuse when you are potty training and your pretty sure they don't have to go, but what if your wrong and they do... gets ya every time. ;-)
HAH! Tis true!
Yes. You kind of have to respond to that one. OH, and "hey mommy......I think you're going to wanna see this...". Ha! Enjoy your big girl graduation moments. They are really fun and sad all rolled into one!
This is Lincoln's naptime mojo and it's usually when I'm "pooped" and want a nap myself. Drives me a bit batty.
Feel your pain.
LOL, reminds me of babysitting Sarah's Max and he insisted he needed to go. He was being trained and had just gone shortly before bed and did his daily duty. I finally gave in and let him get up and sit again. Lo and behold, he pooped...AGAIN LOL
hahahaha... been there, done that!
Unfortunately, Austin has been using that excuse for some time already. Usually it's just a ploy to delay going to sleep, but occasionally he really does have to go. It's so hard to know!
He cracks me up. Sometimes when I think he looks like he's going to poop, I'll say, "Austin, let's run to the potty so you can poop in the potty." And he'll say, "Gas, gas." Just to avoid having to go to the potty. Hahahaha!!
