The Farm Show in all it's Glory

One of the many reasons I love fall......and small town life.

(yes, that IS a giant ketchup stain on her white shirt.  She got a little crazy with the french fries).

Adeline LOVED playing in the corn.  Seriously, she could stand here for hours.

The next evening she had to show Grandpa and Grandma all the fun.

We weren't sure how Addie would do at the parade.  It is past her bedtime, and there are a lot of loud noises (truck horns and sirens).  She didn't love the fire trucks at the beginning, but she enjoyed the tractors, marching bands, baton twirlers, floats, and music.  Maybe next year she'll appreciate all the candy being thrown her direction.  The highlight, of course, was seeing Leigh Ann waving to all her fans.  Sorry gang, I wasn't quick enough on the draw with my camera.

Forever her love...a bouncy house.

I didn't take a picture of us downing the AMAZING milkshakes (yes, that's plural)....it was all out war to get every sip.  Yep, they're that good.

She does look just too cute in that sweater! I was in the parade too - on my school's float, singing with my kids. Wish I would have seen you.

I took Destiny to the farm show last evening. Would you believe she still loves playing in that corn, and she 8 years old!!!

It's a shame we miss seeing you but fun to know we were enjoying the same things at least!

I think I'm in milkshake withdrawal...

Where's the milkshake stand I keep hearing so much about?

Adeline is a-dorable! So cute in her little outfit.
I missed out on the shakes, there seemed to be more than one line and there were at least 10 people in each. So I was not patient enough to stand there and wait while balancing my hamburgers and fries. And I'm embarrassed to admit, but once we had eaten, I took off, it was nap time!

I think that is the first time you used "Addie" in your blog. I love it! My favorite pic is the one where she is standing in the bridge window. And the mommy and daughter one!

Just had to take a moment before I head to bed to peek in over here. Such fun - small town life :)

Can't wait to meet her in person. I really had a great time today - let's do it again a few times before you are off to PA :)

Adeline's outfit is adorable! Love that little cardigan/hoodie! Her hair is getting so long, too! She suddenly doesn't look like she did when she left here anymore.. :(

Looks like the festival was fun!

Looks like a really fun time! I'm glad you decided to (come to book club first and then) go! Did you guys go to Queen Anne's Farm yesterday? I hope you had fun -- sorry we couldn't join you!
