My Grandpa's 90th Birthday!!!

I wasn't sure if we would make another trip "home" before this baby, but when a 90th birthday party was planned for my Grandfather, that was a reason to go.  He is an amazing man, physically, spiritually, and mentally.  He loves the Lord and loves his family.

On Saturday night, we joined some friends for a "Trunk or Treat" at Wallace Presbyterian Church.  People line their cars up around the parking lot, open their trunks, and give out candy.  Adeline fell asleep....like REALLY asleep on the way there, so it took her a while to "warm up" to the idea (on a rather cold night) of trunk-or-treating.

On Sunday, we went to the neighbors surrounding our house, and then we sat on our steps to give out candy.  Adeline did most of the bag filling.  We shouldn't have to worry about any tricks....she's quite generous.

Queen Anne Farm

A visit to Queen Anne Farm has become something of a tradition for us.  This year, I invited all the ladies (and kids) from our church for a Monday outing.  The weather was BEAUTIFUL, but unfortunately, there were kids EVERYWHERE it was "field trip day."  We made the most of it and still had a great time.

Patuxant Fall Festival

My parents joined us for the weekend at what may have been the BEST fall festival I've ever attended.  $8 a kid (for kids over 2) was SO worth it!!!
