This is what it looks like to be in labor with an almost 9 lb baby.....well not hard labor yet.
My mom was there for the birth.
My first time holding my girl...I'm smiling because I finally have no sensation. You can kinda see how swollen her face is here (especially her lips). Full birth story coming...

FYI....I came home Monday morning. Camille is nursing like a champ and doing all the other things newborns are supposed to do. My pain level is much better than I expected. I'm trying not to let myself do too much.

I had to smile at the picture of Patrick reassuring Adeline...it'll be a scene repeated, no doubt. I had to keep reminding myself that as much as Natalia LOVED her new baby brother, her little world had just been turned upside down.

I do love the pictures of Camille, but that picture of Adeline and Patrick is such a beautiful, intimate moment between Daddy and his little girl. It reminded me of some we have with Dave and the girls.
I can't believe I am this behind on blog reading! I've really got to get my stuff together. I have loved reading all about the birth and seeing the pictures, though. What a miraculous thing the birth of a child! So happy for you all!!!!
