One running form of entertainment here, the Americans call "Korenglish." It is where the Koreans want to translate something, but they don't quite get the intention correct or the words correct at all. I finally started taking pictures of some of them so you would get an idea of what I am talking about. Enjoy!
This is the first time I saw this type of penguin at the zoo...
This is some stationary..."You know where you belong and you remember the place. I told you it won't go wrong. This was the sole reason."
Huh?!?!
this sign was outside of the upscale (like $85 a plate) restaurant in the Seoul Tower.

Oh my goodness, Lynn! Those are HILARIOUS!!!! ROFL! Loved this post.
Those are so funny! We have missionaries from our church in Haiti and they post the same sort of thing from there!
These are so funny Lynn! Thanks for giving us a glimpse of life in Korea.
These were hilarious! Thanks for sharing. It is always fascinating to me to see how other countries translate things into English! I remember seeing a sign in Turkey that said, "Sorry We Are Not Closed."
So fun.
Is much funny!
Ha! My attempt at Korenglish doesn't compare to the real thing.
ROFL.
Makes you wonder what we sound like to the locals when we visit other countries.
Glad you posted the Jackass Penguin, that's my favorite. And YOU'RE my favorite! Love, Patrick
So funny! I told John we (I) need to do a better job of capturing all the "Korenglish" around here! We'll miss the little things that make us laugh when we leave! :) I especially loved the "You've got Lucky" card and I must go get myself some Placenta Hot Oil for my hair!! Ha!!! :) Thanks for sharing!
Those were hilarious! And the links to your friends' posts with the same kind of thing--a dog in heat forever?!?!?!? I was roaring!
Thanks for the laughs...I needed that this morning. :-)
those were hilarious! I would have bust out laughing if I were out and about and saw them.
LOL! These cracked me up. You just stare at some...what??
We get this on the chinese menus here...makes me smile.
You'll love these shots as great memories.
Ooooooo... I can't wait to get my hair done with Placenta! Maybe I can drink some Sweat while I'm at it. Won't I bet set? All I'll need is one of those fabulous dresses from the other day (preferably the pink ruffly one, or maybe the spider one... so many choices!) Then I'll be ready to leave!
These had had me rolling...just SO hilarious!
